Day 1 - Your favourite DBSK member and why

I don’t know if I can really answer this.

First of all, I’d have to say that the first thing that caught my attention was his voice and the high notes he could reach with incredible easyness. Also, months later I realised that his voice had this effect upon me which could soothe my mood when I was sad, angry or under too much pressure, making me feel calm -something that it’s quite hard. Or making me fall asleep like a baby with Lullaby when I just couldn’t sleep at all. It’s weird the kind of effect his voice has on me, but I like it. I really do.

As someone who loves music and especially singing, his falsetto and his mix voice, and the way he was able to reach those notes so naturally, woke my curiosity.
I started to analyze him a little bit, paying more attention to performances, trying to deduce his weak and strong points in singing. How much personality and emotion he put in the songs, etc. This led me to pay him more attention in variety shows too so I could notice how much he changed in different scenarios and under pressure, and how that affected his singing. (Yes, I’m that obssessive when it comes about music.)
And oh, I ended up discovering his sarcastic/snarky/even mischievous side.

Remember this ‘Of Course’ game against Jae? I tend to like and get on well with people with that kind of personality, it can be just hilarious. So after watching that video I got kind of ‘affectionated’ to him.

Without really noticing it, he became what people usually call ‘bias’. Also, I not only admire his voice (and I must say that I do know that he still lacks control of it, thing that will surely improve with time) but his hard-working side as well. I want to be able to work hard for what I want and believe in myself and what I do. He’s always testing himself, ‘I know my limits, but that means I can keep improving too, right?’ (it isn’t the exaaactly phrase but he said something along those lines.)

Yes, I know my limits but I will jump over them (or crash them in any case) and keep improving. He reminds me this. Strenght and determination. I want to learn more of this from him.

What else can I say? Oh, he has quite good taste in music, and I like his smile (the real one) and mismatched eyes. They make things look brighter.

I might be forgetting so many things, but for now it’s all I can say to answer why I consider him a ‘favourite’… And I’ve said too much lol.
